這是一首很美的歌~
但是每次聽它的時候，總是需要刻意去忽略小時候的印象

第一次聽這首歌的旋律，是1984年金瑞瑤翻唱的"好想你"~~
還是小朋友的我，跟著大人一起喜歡這首歌~
喜歡唱這首歌的女藝人，喜歡當時的流行歌曲~(那時還有當紅的林慧萍)
那時的小朋友對於"好想你"應該是朗朗上口
但是當時模仿日本偶像的製作和包裝，
也讓歌曲和歌手在樂壇的更迭中迅速地被淹沒
(說真的，歌詞跟原曲的意境差好多)~

雖然知道它是翻唱歌曲，但卻也沒有多大的興趣去翻找原唱版本
再次遇到這首歌，已經是大學了~~
偶然在唱片行逛到一張以Rose為題的豎琴專輯~~
那是一張收集與玫瑰主題相關歌曲的演奏專輯，第一首就是The Rose
(豎琴的撥弦和木箱共鳴的音色，似乎天生就是要與玫瑰相配~~)
才開始好奇，這首"好想你"跟玫瑰是什麼關係呢?

The Rose是貝蒂米勒1979年演出同名電影裡的歌曲
那是另一個傳奇人物Janis Joplin的故事

這首歌只有三段~~旋律都一樣
但是卻又很不同...感覺是用一個主題寫出的sonata form
或許比較像是Symphony poem
簡單~卻又澎湃洶湧
每一首歌都有屬於它的聲音，這首歌屬於Bette Midler~~
雖然很多人翻唱過~~但只有她的聲音能賦予歌曲豐富的生命

第三段的地方，
彷彿可以從她的聲音中~聽到一朵
從雪地裡逐漸綻放的玫瑰~
